William “Sonny” Grubbs is the managing partner of the Tallahassee office at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida, Georgia and Mississippi. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator and certified as a Mediator in Mississippi.

During the course of his career, Sonny has represented both plaintiffs and defendants alike in a wide area of law, ranging from automotive, construction, contracts, employment, healthcare, nursing homes and professional liability. Sonny has significant experience in the costs and risks associated with every phase of the litigation process and is well versed in various disciplines of law.

With respect to the mediation process, Sonny is dedicated to being a neutral intercessor to assist litigants in resolving their differences in a fair and equitable manner. His primary goal is to foster professional and candid communication amongst the parties towards their mutual outcome. Sonny’s effectiveness as a mediator is based on his extensive and unique litigation experience. Sonny has been heavily involved with trial and appellate practice throughout his career, with emphasis on practice areas related to voir dire, juror selection, the use of demonstratives, and jury themes.

Mediations are currently conducted remotely by way of Zoom™, Microsoft Teams™️ or telephonically. Remote mediations save the parties time and money related to traditional travel expense and accommodations.
